Helpful reports include the exact error message, the tool or platform involved, and any safe, non-secret context about when the error appears. Do not send API keys, tokens, passwords, private repository contents, or other sensitive credentials.

Correction requests

For corrections, include the page URL, the exact section that appears wrong or outdated, the expected correction, and any public documentation, issue, release note, or reproducible context that supports the change.

Source and privacy boundaries

Dev Error DB cannot use private logs, customer data, secrets, or unsupported claims as public evidence. Public source links are preferred, and sensitive material should be redacted before contact.
